My husband and I* are excited to get back to traveling the country, visiting friends/family and most of all befriending sweet pets along the way. As you can see in our reviews from then we had an AMAZING time with so many loving pets!! We feel fortunate to have enjoyed the past 2 years in our Satellite Beach, FL oceanfront condo but now we are ready to hit the road again and return to our exciting “nomadic lifestyle” and meet new furry friends :-) Fortunately, Chad and I are both able to travel as we please and we always travel with our own vehicle (a plus is no flight delays).
We are both huge animal lovers. In fact, when we met almost 15 years ago we actually bonded over the fact we were both part-time dog walkers/sitters at one point. And loved every minute of it!
My husband and I are a complete petsitting duo: Chad is the “Exercise director” aka the thrower of balls, wrestling buddy or tug-of-war partner, and several times a day walker for them :-) While I love being affectionate with petting and/or cuddling or just offering my lap depending on their preference. But if your pets prefer more personal space, I respect that and I can also love them from that distance.
My husband is a Veteran who was stationed in the Washington DC area for over 12 years with a high level National Security Clearance. Being a bugler for The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps included performing various ceremonies for Presidents and many Diplomats in addition to TAPS on a regular basis. Chad is also an avid 4.5 USTA tennis player who enjoys fitting in matches throughout our travels. I graduated with a BBA from a Washington DC University and I am now a retired independent day trader. Chad and I lived throughout Arlington, VA for many years before we fled to the Space Coast for the warmer climate 7 years ago. I am a homebody who has often been referred to as an “old soul” and no joke my favorite “hobby” is cuddling with furry friends! :-)
The two of us are clean non-smokers who MUCH prefer quiet evenings at home hanging with pets to partying. We are very trustworthy and respectful and looking forward to new experiences... while hopefully meeting many loving pets along the way! That being said our only major requirement is a smoke-free, mold-free environment because I have asthma. (Also if any scented plug-ins could please be removed prior to our arrival.)
It is obvious by this long description how important we feel it is to provide the most information possible when applying to stay with your loved ones. So if you are looking for caring, straightforward, and very detailed married travelers to give your pets unconditional love and conversations (yes we love to joke in silly voices with pets- doesn't everyone? ha!) and have your home more than well maintained then we will probably be a great fit.
Thank you for taking the time to read this... as you can see I find the little details quite important such as daily texts/pictures of pets (but ONLY if desired daily or however often you would prefer). I respect your space and will ask the amount of contact you desire while you are away so I will match that.
