We are the Taylors, Kevin and Pam, and would like to share some introductory information so that you can get to know us a little bit better. We are an American couple living in Southern WV, in our mid- 50s, non-smokers, and have been married for some years. After a career in emergency services, Kevin currently serves as a full-time instructor for an internet-based University, while Pam is a Director for a well-known cosmetics company, a position that allows her to work out of the home as well. As far as house-sitting is concerned, since we are just getting started in “officially” applying for such positions, many may not consider us “experienced.” However, since we have been homeowners for the entirety of our marriage, we would consider ourselves to be rather experienced, considering we have become quite adept at all aspects related to the care that a home demands and deserves. Kevin generally takes care of all of the maintenance-related issues (i.e. electrical, plumbing, etc.) that crop up from time to time around the house, as well as maintaining our vehicles. Pam is gifted with making our house truly a home; whether that is tending to gardening and flowers, or simply being attentive to issues related to cleaning or the countless other tasks that must be carried out. Also, being the parents of two daughters (who are now grown and on their own), we have had our share of wonderful pets throughout the years. These have included everything from fish to hamsters to rabbits, but generally, we have always had a cat or two around the house. Although we both love animals, there is no one who loves pets more than Pam. She has a special gift of bonding with them, allowing her to provide the affection and care they deserve and she enjoys giving. So we would be most interested in watching over your home while you are away and would do so with the same care as if it were our own.
