Hi, thank you for reading our listing. We are Angie and Paul, a semi retired British couple in our 50's, who love Canada and relocated to Vancouver Island a few years ago for a better way of life. I (Angie) am an ex UK Customs Officer and Paul is a software designer and part time ambulance driver. We have had house sitters ourselves in the past in the UK for our cats, so appreciate how important it is to have people you can trust to care for your home and much loved pets while you are away. We are non smokers and honest, reliable, responsible people.
Living towards the north of Vancouver Island as we do, we are very practical - we can cope with most things! As lifelong cat lovers we are interested in caring for cats primarily, but have experience with dogs and lots of other animals, so will happily consider well behaved dogs.
We have both had UK and Canadian Police checks carried out when we emigrated, and for Paul's work as an ambulance driver and volunteer fire fighter - also for myself as a Red Cross volunteer.
We joined Housecarers as we are hoping to do more travelling, and this way we can also help people travel with peace of mind, as we guarantee we will care for your home and pets as if they were our own.
