I am a retired medical professional with years of experience in house and pet sitting. In fact, for the last seventeen years I have been the sole proprietor of a small pet sitting business. I am a licensed and insured pet/house sitter in the beautiful Napa Valley. I am certified by the Red Cross in Pet First Aid, and I have handled emergencies for pets, people, and homes during my various overnight pet sitting jobs. I understand that your peace of mind is why you are looking for a pet/house sitter, so I am committed to handling any urgent situations that may occur, as well as the day-to-day conscientious care of your home and animals.
I am a quiet person who is physically fit and active, non-smoking, and loves travel. I own my own home in the Napa Valley, but enjoy seeing other wonderful areas of the country. I have references available for you...my local clients are happy to support me in this way. I am willing and able to do light chores around your property, to keep things having that lived-in look while you are gone. It is always my intention to leave a “minimal footprint” in your home, so that when you return, it will be clean and ready for you. Your animals’ routines will have continued, and their care will have been my priority.
I have extensive experience with dogs, including training, and pet therapy work. I have also worked with cats, birds, livestock, horses, and other critters as well.
If you are looking for mindful, respectful care of your home and your furry loved ones, please consider me.
I am currently most interested in positions in California, Oregon, and Nevada. Thank you for your consideration!
