We are looking for someone to take care of our dog and our house. We travel often, and so there will be numerous opportunities for sitters. The first is May 4-9.
The Dog and dog care
We have a six year old dog named Dakota. She is about 40 lbs and is a mixed of Jindu (Korean breed) and yellow lab/cattle dog . She is well trained on and off leash. Dog care would include walks (ideally at least two each day). We have a fully fenced backyard which she can be in during the day. She loves being around people, and we would not want her left alone for longer than three or four hours.
The house and neighborhood
We have a new three bedroom house in Multnomah Village, which is about 20 minutes by car to downtown Portland Oregon. We are a 5-minute walk into the village which has a number of restaurants, a great bookstore, and other attractions. There are a number of parks within walking distance which make great destinations for dog walks.
