Hi! I own my beautiful little home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. I have one dog that prefers to stay home when I go away, so I am looking for someone who can stay and care for him, as well as look after my cosy little house!
My dog, Monty, is a super chilled-out senior. He enjoys walks twice a day after his meals. He is easy going at home and doesn't mind being left for short periods during the day once he's had his morning walk. For longer days out we have a dog walker that can come and walk him Monday -Friday (I can cover the cost of this).
Monty is not sociable with other dogs, so I would like someone who is mindful of this on walks. He is fine so long as other dogs do not enter his personal space. Monty always walks on lead and he walks beautifully at a heel. Walks are slow, steady and relaxed! He is great with humans and will do anything for a treat!
The house is a two bedroom terrace with 1.5 bathrooms. There is an open plan kitchen diner and a seperate cosy lounge. There is on-street parking and a front yard. The house is clean and tidy with an uncluttered, but homely feel. At the back there is a private garden with furniture.
The house is located just north of Doncaster city centre with excellent road and rail links (5 minute walk to Bentley station). There is open country side a short walk away and Yorkshire Dales and Peak District a moderate drive away. Access to The Trans Penine Trail is also on the doorstep.
Sheffield, Leeds and York are all a short drive/train ride away and lots of pretty villages and towns in-between!
You can walk to Doncaster city centre in 25 minutes along the Trans Penine Route. You can also visit a number of stately homes in the area very easily. There are many woodland walks in the area and lots of nice little eateries and pubs.
