Dear cat lover,
Hi, I'm Lauren. And I'm looking for either an older couple or a single female to cat sitter for my beautiful two indoor-only Tonks in the gorgeous seaside paradise of Yeppoon.
I am thoroughly bias, but Kitsune and Macchie (Mackie) are two of the cutest cats you will ever meet and have pretty awesome personalities. Their favourite past-time is cuddling up to each other for long naps in the sun. They are older cats so less into play, but will absolutely be enticed to 'hunt' if you want the fun and laughs.
They are both great with kind strangers, but Macchie is not good with small children. She is more timid and a bit of a 'fraidy cat. If a thunderstorm rolls through you will find her hiding, tucked away in one of her cubbies (mainly under the bed).
Kitsune loves his cuddles and is a super sensitive soul. He gets anxious a bit (sometimes a neighbour cat who has free reign at all hours (!!) torments him and he gets upset). If agitated, he pretty quickly settles, especially with a kind word, and a little pat or brush of his silky coat.
They, along with me, live in a lovely and spacious duplex house <5mins from the main township of Yeppoon. Yeppoon is Australia's very own paradise, with two main streets filled with cafes, bars and shops, the famous Yeppoon Lagoon, as well as plenty of beaches, national parks and we are about 10mins to the marina to Great Keppel Island. It really is a true paradise and we are lucky to call this place home. Rockhampton is 35mins drive away for larger shopping district if needed.
My home is a 3-bed modern duplex, with modern open plan kitchen / living, with access to a large selection of movies and tv shows, or you can sign in to your own Netflix/streaming accounts on the connected computer. There is AC in the living room and garage parking available for 1 car (not sure if I will have my car here or somewhere else). Some minor watering of house plants. Outdoor garden should be okay at this time of year.
