Natural surroundings Cairns Hinterland
Looking for a cat loving couple who enjoy nature and living in a quiet street in a small village surrounded by rainforest , dairy farms and lovely walks along the creek, and around the local lakes..
Nature walks to view platypus and tree kangaroos are a short 5 minute walk away and very popular.
Wake to the sound of birds a stones throw away from coffee and craft shops, a heritage pub and the library, Bowling club, Post Office, Pharmacy, butcher, book shops and the local information centre is 5 minutes walk...Google Yungaburra and check out the wildlife along the creek tracks.
My cat is a lovely gentle tabby and strictly indoor variety, a 19 year old with the most beautiful blue eyes. The property is in a quiet cul de sac and backs onto a park near the local bowls club, pharmacy, hair dressers cafes and centre of town. I would prefer non -smokers thankyou...and someone who is happy to water the garden and numerous pot plants that I love....The lawn will need a mow but I have a good mower and it takes less than half an hour.
The 2 chooks lay eggs and are in a run during the day and coup at night.
The village has a Foodworks supermarket but to take advantage of exploring the area, a vehicle is advisable.
Yungaburra is 1 and a quarter hours from Cairns by road. It can be accessed via Kuranda or the southern corridor near Gordonvale. All access roads are well maintained.
Dates are From December 1st 2024 to January 5th 2025
Yungaburra is approximately 3 degrees Celsius cooler than Cairns and much less humidity.
My home is cool with ceiling fans and a large guest bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet.
