Our names are David and Theresa Mayne. We write
this letter as a reference for future House
Owners, now that we have joined House carers
Aust. We lived in Sydney running a
Formwork/Scaffolding hire business for 20
years.
After owning several homes over that period,
we moved our business to sunny Queensland Where
we purchased a 5-acre property in Pimpama,
just
out of the Gold Coast,employing
boilermaker/welders to manufacture
and service several high-rise developments.
Naturally, with a 5-acre
property we used a ride on mower to maintain it
as well as havig many hedges, gardens,
and a large swimming pool/spa to
maintain.
In 2001,we decided to sell our 5-acre home
on the Gold Coast and start traveling around
Australia. We are currently in our 8th year
and have made it around Australia five
times, as well as across the ditch to NZ.
We have home secured and maintained many homes
over this period, and having owned several homes
in the past including homes with acreage,
gardens,
swimming pools and spa pools, we appreciate what
it means to have your investment secured whilst
you are holidaying or away on business.
Over the years we have met many professional
people on our travels and maintained contact,
which has led us to home sit property’s ranging
from quaint cottages to very up market homes.
The length of stay’s ranging from 2 week
periods
through to 9 months.
