I am a non-smoking, active, world-travelling semi-retired professional. I enjoy dividing my days between family, handling rentals/investments and caring for the properties and pets of my new acquaintances, after having sold my businesses in the U.S. I have had cherished pets including dogs and cats, as well as horses, other livestock, and even a racoon! My travels/family visits keep me from currently owning pets that would have to be left behind, however I find the temporary care of other's pets rewarding.
As a homeowner and investment property owner I understand the importance of property care and maintenance. One of my favorite house-sits with housecarers was in Spain for 2 months caring for 6 cats, 3 dogs and 8 acres.
I have a natural attention to detail that provides insurance that whatever you place in my care will be attended to in a neat and orderly manner. In addition to business ownership, I was a teacher and principal. I love learning and new experiences all over the world. I lived in Brazil for a year so have basic Portuguese and foundational Spanish abilities (from college courses, language study in Costa Rica, and living in Spain for 2 months)
