ABOUT US
We're remote tech-workers and passionate creatives, with a tremendous amount of travel/sitting under out belts! Our friends describe us loving, adventurous, and (at times) obsessive cleaners.
Rachel (28) is a software engineer and clothing designer and Jordan (27) is a product manager and painter. We love the outdoors and wanted to make more space for our creative endeavors, which prompted our move from a small apartment in NYC to the PNW. We got married in 2023 after almost 10 years together (high-school sweethearts).
EXPERIENCE
We lived and worked remotely for ~2 full years during the pandemic across North America, Central America, and Europe. We've got in the order of 50 five star reviews under our belt and completed a number of house/pet sit — including a handful on the platform. We're more than happy to connect you with references from our previous long-term sits!
We both grew up with pets and tending to gardens. We're no strangers to rolling our sleeves up for DIY projects. Jordan has light carpentry skills — owning to his architectural background and Rachel can sew/mend pretty much anything. At previous sits we've done landscaping and taken care of large fruit/vegtable gardens!
WHY SIT?
We're looking to save considerably on housing in , in order to buy our dream home in Seattle! We want space to build a family :)
IDEAL SITS
Ideally we'd find a long-term stay in house (3 months) within 3 hrs driving distance from Seattle. We own a Subaru crosstrek.
Our sweet spot is dogs/cats, but we're open to other creatures if needed.
Proximity to nature would be a huge plus!
