Not all who WANDER are LOST
My grandpa always called me a gypsy because I've lived in places like the East Mountains with no electricity or running water or in an RV just to prove to myself that I could survive, & even thrive, without a Walmart right around the corner.
Even then, I had my fur babies with me; cats & dogs... living in harmony... just the way they should be. My 7 cats loved their 200lb Blue Pitbull brother, Chico, & their 2lb Chihuahua sister, Lali, who, ironically was the bully of the bunch.
Now I have just 2 cats;
Raider (he's black & silver): My 20lb loveable fatty who loves being held like a baby & laying on his back to have his fluffy belly rubbed...
&
PJ ("Phoenix Jr" named after her dad because I thought she was a boy until I took her to her nuetered) my tiny lil' orange shygirl who loves rubbies...
They go with me everywhere, especially now after their Papa (my fiancé) took his own life in front of them. It has been a really rough year for us 3 as we were still living in the same house until recently. After a year there, we were ready to move on. But... to where?
Nowhere really feels like home anymore without my hunny & I've always loved to explore & see new places. I've traveled alot... born on an island in Alaska, raised on an island in Texas year military family... moved to New Mexico after I graduated to be get to know my roots since my parents are from here.
I have a very eclectic personality/lifestyle/skillset. I graduated at the top 10% of my class in Clute, Texas (Houston area) a year early, started college before I started highschool, received my Associates in Business & Accounting as well as my Bachelors in Business with an Emphasis on New Media Marketing.
I'm a photographer & have worked at Kiddie Kandids taking infant & family portraits. I've worked at Edible Arrangements, the Census Bureau, Liberty Tax as a tax preparer, ran a transmission shop in Santa Fe & managed the only hotel in Edgewood for about 5 years from when it was built & all thru Covid.
I was a Research Marketing Agent traveling up & down the California Coast with my late fiancé, conducting surveys with customers & giving them prepaid giftcards for their participation.
I make write, make music, am a digital artist & do freelance work taking pictures of commercial & residential properties.
I could go on & on... but I won't lol.
I really feel like house sitting would be a great fit for me because I have so many avenues in which I make money, alot of which is online so not having to worry about paying rent & all that goes along with that, will free up my time & energy to do more of the things I like to do & work in the ways I prefer to work.
This is my 1st time using a housesitting platform of any kind, so I figured I'd give it a test run before opting to pay for the account so feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss any upcoming trips you may have planned if you feel that I may be a good fit to care for your home & fur babies.
By the way, my cats are 90% outside cats & have their own 2-story house (chick
