Hi! We are Lynn and Jeff. We are an active couple that loves to travel, find off the beaten path adventures, and meet new people.
We are loooooooooong time animal (and kid) parents together for over 30 years and a home never empty of a cast of amazing dogs, cats, fish, frogs (and even birds). We have always had rescue pets that often entered our lives in sets so they had a brother or sister to give them comfort, which could make for a full house at times!
Unfortunately, our home has become quiet again as we recently had to say goodbye to our amazing Buddy the Dog after fifteen years. Although it has been almost two years since Buddy’s passing, the loss feels as fresh as though it was yesterday. He was the glue and connector all through our kid’s lives. You always knew who needed the most love and comfort, because that’s where Buddy was. We are working on mending the huge hole in our hearts that never seems to close. Following in Buddy’s paw prints, our therapy is to stop every pet owner for “chats’, that are really excuses for ‘puppy love’ and never miss an opportunity to host friends and family pets when they travel.
With our kids finished with school and on their own, we are delighted to return to our adventures as a couple. With our good fortune to be able to work from anywhere and an empty house, we figured what better way to embrace this unique opportunity then to combine the whole package of traveling, meeting new people and loving wonderful animals while providing a service to you.
We understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pets will be cherished and well cared for, while being able to stay safely in their own home. We would love to be able to provide that for you!
We are a non-smoking, meticulous and organized professional couple. We also find joy in the quiet connection that comes from a good book, doing some gardening, quiet strolls, cooking together or sitting around a fire. There is adventure to be found in what life presents each day, which is why our kids never blink an eye when the journey to anywhere always seems to find us on a new path, even if that journey is just out of our neighborhood!
