Who we are: We are grey nomads - a retired (as of couple who sold our house and are traveling non-stop after traveling internationally several times per year for more than a decade. Between us, we have experiencd most of what life can throw at you. Luckily, that does not include any health issues. As we are new to this, we want to build a stellar resume and hope we can show you the service you deserve for allowing us into your home and trusting us with your loved one. Our only plan is to "slow" travel, spending time in new places and meeting new people unitl we find THE PLACE. House sitting is our way of living like the locals and really understanding what that means in each location. Who knows, we could be your next neighbor! You will find us as honest, trustworthy, reliable, no parties, no visitors/other people and non-smokers.
Why select us? As a mature couple having had pets we have the time and love for pets - we especially miss our own. We miss them - walks, wags and endless tummy-rubs. Also, we have owned many homes over time, we have a lot of experience dealing with surprise items that pop up. Normal household and pet duties are what we are used to. Our background also includes designing/assisting in the build of a new home and, most recently, a major renovation. Thus we are available for heavier duties such as pool maintenance, yard work, or the emergency fix.
I work remotely, Consulting a few hours a week (hint: beats 60 stress-filled hours), so fluent in on-line communications. No issues with updates and pictures to reduce homeowner worries throughout the visit.
