Flexible on location and duration
We are an active couple who travels a lot. Usually we try each year to do a long term vacation 3-5 weeks. We have owned properties and understand the value of caring for a home. We want to housesit in tropical areas, for example Indonesia, Caribbean, or other tropical islands. We have a dream someday to buy a house abroad, but yet we do not know where. We love (!!!) animals. Moths is not my favorite, but we have owned several dogs and cats during the years. At the moment we only have two cats (one ragdoll/ Burmese and one Norwegian forest cat). When we travel our neighbors taking great care of our loved ones.
Linn is a train driver of speed trains since 4 years, before that she worked in social service with juveniles and delinquents and treatment of drug abuse for more than a decade. Jonas, is also a traindriver since 4 years but drives cargo trains, he have earlier professions in police department, firefighter and social worker also with delinquents and juveniles.
We are both very easy going people, great social skills, fair, consistent and sets clear expectations. Jonas is handy around the house and yard, knowledge of how to run a house and fixing everyday problems so there are no worries about any surprises that may come up; he can handle it.
We love to travel around the world: Indonesia, Thailand, USA, Caribbean, St Vincent and the Grenadines etc, to go to different areas to housesit and see the sites along the way.
We don't have any housesitting experience other than for ourselves. We have owned two houses before the one we are living in right know. My husband loves maintaining house and go fishing. We are very clean people, and you will be very pleased coming home to a nice clean house and happy animals.
We can bring much life experience. Linn grew up with horses, many dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits. Jonas grew up with parrots and dogs as an adult. We have great experience of sibirian husky, chapendoes, and mixed race of Labrador/ dingo/ Doberman.
