I have been in Canada since May 23 and was travelling with my Work-and-Holiday-Visa from east to west by train and bus, got my own car and are right now located in Vernon, BC on a non-profit farm working full-time as an Operation Manager since November 23.
Now I am looking for another highlight on my trip before going back home in September 24. I try to connect two dots: helping out somebody and find different places to stay for a couple of days or weeks. I am open-minded, approach new tasks with openness and want to see, what chances and oppertunities there are!
HOUSEKEEPING:
Due to my experiences back home in Germany, I think that I am able to look for your home: I am experienced in lots of different things like gardening or general maintenance. I learned all the things which occur from time to time or regularly in and around houses. My parents own two houses and I bought an apartment two years ago (all in Germany).
PETSITTING:
I would love looking after a pet. I really love cats and dogs!
Here at the farm we help out the Okanagan Humane Society and have been fostering 9 cats so far. They had some sort of trouble and got treated by a Vet Hospital and we are helping to socialize them (again) until they are able to get adopted. And all of them got adopted so far what makes me at least a little bit proud! :)
I am also good in handling dogs. I never had one but I have apparently a strong connection to dogs - thats not only my own opinion, many people said that. And actually I did dog sitting for 2 weeks for my boss here which worked out super good. Ziggy, the dog, is pretty big and heavy, and I handled it confident and reliable.
In summary, I am pleased if you take me into consideration to look after your home and/or pet and I am greatful if you would place trust in me.
