I am close to retirement and am testing the waters on what comes next. I realize that my headline reads 'active couple' and that's because my husband is further away from retirement than I am so there is a chance that I would be caring for your home and pets on my own. I currently have a job that is remote in nature so I can work from anywhere in the world provided there is reliable internet.
I have experience with both dogs, cats, as well as horses. I love a farm environment and the chores that accompany it. I currently live in a big city so I familiar with dog walks/parks etc.
I am a home owner and understand the wisdom that someone with this experience would bring to a house sitting opportunity. Before the pandemic we rented our home on so we are familiar with the experience of lending out personal space from both the client perspective and the homeowner. Your home would be very taken care of when it was in my care. My husband has a residential renovation background so if there are projects that need finishing (or starting) this is also something else we offer our clients. We also have a salt water pool of our own and a hot tub so have experience maintaining those amenities.
