Hi! My name is Des.
I am a 33-year-old, single female from Saskatchewan, Canada where I am a homeowner myself. I am fortunate to have been traveling/living abroad for the last five years. Because of my traveling, it puts me in a position to be without a pet of my own. I had several cats, lizards, and a dog in my youth. I love spending time with animals- while I travel, I often go to beaches or parks with the hopes that a dog will run up and say hi. Most often, they do! :)
I have had numerous experiences house sitting in Canada before I purchased my own house. And more recently, I have done yoga teaching exchanges in hotels where I am living in close proximity to guests and have kept a fun, professional relationship with both guests and hotel staff.
I am responsible, dependable, honest, active, and loving. I work remotely part-time as a Sales Development Representative and I offer online guided meditations.
I am currently residing in Western Canada for the remainder of 2023.
I will be moving to Australia in January 2024.
I understand the feeling of leaving your house in someone else's care and I am happy to communicate as little or as much as needed during your time away so that you can feel at ease. I am happy to help with yard work, plant care, and additional little things around the home/property. I consider myself to be intelligent and with strong common sense; I am open to learning new things along the way as well.
