I’ve had the pleasure of looking after many family companions (ranging from a single-cat sit to a five-dog sit) and frequently including older ones requiring supplements and medications throughout the day. Please take a look at my references if you get a chance. Every sit is slightly different and I’d very much like to hear about your specific preferences and needs while you’re away.
I'm a 63 year old, single, retired small-town lawyer, currently no pets of my own, fully vaccinated and boosted, and tobacco and drug free. When I meet new cats and dogs, I usually offer a gentle ear massage, which is most often GREATLY enjoyed, right away by dogs and by cats, well, whenever they decide they're darned good and ready! And if they're up for it, I like to treat them to a daily coat brushing. I'm hoping for at least a few household chores while I’m there, and typically send daily photos so you can see what your crew is up to.
I really enjoy the travel aspect of pet/house sitting and spending time in new or favorite places. Like many I suppose, I’m trying my best to make up for all the travel none of us were able to enjoy for a couple of years there. And to have your efforts be rewarded throughout the day with an appreciative tail wag or contented cat lap-nap, is pretty nice.
