Hi, we're Kate & Dave! We have done 50 housesits since 2014 caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens and other fowl--and a guinea pig. We are huge animal lovers and will give your pets tons of time and affection.

See more about us and our reviews at the Houseitting tab on Kate's webiste (see above). We've been members of another housesitting site since 2015 and have received all 5-star reviews.

Our home base is at Cerritos Beach near Todos Santos in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Originally from California, USA, we are Mexican residents. Kate is a writer, book editor, and former university professor (in California, Japan and China), and Dave is a retired business development guy (who worked for the Japanese phone company) and a photographer. We are very clean, adaptable, non-smokers, light drinkers, and vaccinated.

We love to spend time with others' pets since we travel too much to have our own. Dave is a former volunteer with the Humane Society. He's an experienced gardener and knows a lot about pools and spas. We are in great health and physically active. We both regularly practice in-home yoga and enjoy long walks.  As homeowners, we understand the importance of taking good care of your place. We are very resourceful and responsible. 

We always look forward to meeting new animals and people, and experiencing new places!
