I'm a recently retired equestrian facility owner, manager, and animal trainer working primarily with horse, ponies, dogs and petting zoo animals. I've lived and worked acros the USA and in France for the FEF and International Equestrian Federation. After selling the facility, I concentrated on restoring my own(older) home with greenhouse, organic garden, and dog agility course I shared with other trainers . The experiences gained make me quite competent at trouble shooting indoor and outdoor problems with pets, livestock, and even plumbing and garden pests should they occur.I know when to call in the professionals though!
Now I own a condo near the beach and spend summers high in the Sierra Nevada mountains at 10,000' elv. as a wilderness guide, cook, and operations manager for three Pack Stations with 200 head of horses and mules. You can't forget important things like food, medications, or good coffee when you're 4 days away from civilization with ten guests and mules! I can drive almost any tractor, truck, auto, or horse van.
I am interested in learning more about living in Western Europe again , and with my vast critter experience, love of music, fine arts, and languages, I find myself drawn to specialized homesits. Portugal, Italy, France and Spain are my first choices, but I'll consider any beautiful are and home from cottage to estate.
Here in California, I specialize in working with frightened and problematic animals, large ,small, and feathered.
