I am a retired mechanic and had a side gardening/landscaping business. I am very handy -remodeled and renovated 3 houses from top to bottom. I studied Master Gardening through the University of Minnesota and maintained many residential and commercial properties. Well-managed landscapes offer tremendous benefits for people and for the environment.
My partner Lisa is a retired Dental Hygienist. We are neat and clean, courteous, responsible, and non-smokers. We both own our own homes so we understand the details and responsibilities of caring for a home. You can be rest assured your home will be well taken care of while you are away. We can even help with projects if you like-just leave us a list! We enjoy travelling together, dancing (we met at a dance) bicycling, swimming and easy hiking.
We do not own any pets. I grew up with cats and dogs and I had my most recent dog Vinny for 12 years. Lisa had the privilege of owning a cockatiel for 22 years-yes 22 years!!! We have done a few house sits for friends and family and are ready to explore new cultures and communities. We would like to escape the harsh northern winters and are interested in house siitting in rural or urban locations and can be available for up to 3 months or longer.
