As a married couple we retired in 2021 after having worked over twenty years for the same hospital system here in Florida. I, as an Emergency Room Nurse and Clay as a Maintenance Electrician in Facitiies Management.
Both of us grew up as children in multiple pet households. During our 30 years together we've raised children plus cared for a dog, cat, and rabbit as family pets. We've lived and owned homes in Texas and Utah, however now reside in Florida. We understand the pride of home ownership and work diligently to keep our home both organized and meticulously clean. We both enjoy yardwork. This past summer we were pleased to receive the town's landscape and beautification award. Health is a top priority so along with diet and exercise we choose to maintain a non-smoking, non-drinking, and drug free lifesyle. Surfing is a passion we share in addition to hiking, biking, fishing, and of course gardening. We have grown most of our own produce during the past two years. For quieter times we both are avid readers. I enjoy quilting and cooking.
Our goal in registering with this site is to find a win-win situation. We enjoy being active and traveling however feel a certain void in our life in regard to not currently having animals of our own to love and care for. Certainly providing excellent care for someone's pet while they are away would not only be a bonus for us but provide peace of mind for them as well. As a couple, we have always been responsible and hard working no matter the experience. Please consider us ... I don't think you'll be disappointed.
