Liam is a professional baseball player for the Canadian IBL and Arborist and Kelcie works for a Botanical Garden and is taking a permaculture certification. We love travel writing, spending quality time outdoors hiking, cooking, gardening, and reading.
We have spent the last 3 years in Canada, New Zealand, and Italy working in and looking after a range of property types - off grid surf lodges with remote helicopter only access, large formal estates, small, rural country bungalows, luxury villas, DIY property projects with multiple houses on site, suburban family homes etc.
We're handy and confident navigating repairs or maintence that should come up. We can tackle landscaping, gardening, arborist work, water systems, wood stoves etc.
We are homebodies who love to travel. House-sitting offers the perfect opportunity to travel while staying at home. As aspiring travel writers, we like to take time to explore an area, experience the culture and interact with locals. As prospective homeowners, we crave the comfort of home while traveling and find comfort in looking after yours.
We know how much animals bring a home to life. Whether pet dogs, cows, pigs, hens or horses, we have always had animals as a part of our lives -including several pets who have required special care, medication and vet visits. There's nothing like living in a home with pets, and house sitting gives us the chance to enjoy the love and friendship of a furry friend, if only for a while!
We have all our required covid vaccines and adhere to strict cleaning and physical distancing protocols. As your house and / or pet sitters, you will have peace of mind knowing we will care for your home and pet(s) as if they were our own.
