 I am retired from social services/education professions. I’ve owned three homes and I reside in my second condo. Two of the homes had rental units.  

I love gardening and anything to do with being outside—walking dogs, walking, bicycling and moderate hiking.  Love to explore new places. And also happy to be home with your animals, and cook, read, and watch movies...

I live on the east coast of the U.S.  My first housesit with Housecarers was in Albquerque with my sister.  Great experience--2 cats and 1 dog. Second house sit  was with a friend in San Diego-/lots of bird feeders and gardens.

I have also house sat and "teenage-sat" for a friend who has animals — aging dogs, a cat, fish and guinea pigs. I am a non-smoker so seeking non-smoke homes.

I am very responsible, including about Covid.  I became  a foster mother later in life to two teenage refugee boys and now have two daughters-in-law and  two grandchildren.  

 I have excellent credit, employment and driving records.  I would take very good care of your home and pets.

Betsy and her sister Frances did a superb housesitting job for us.  The house was immaculate, the animals were joyous.  These two left all in better shape than when we left!

Best of all they really explored Albuquerque and found delights in walking tours and gallery visits.  Isn't that what Housecarers is about?  We want someone to appreciate more than our gorgeous sunsets and fine mountains but to learn about all we have to offer in a city.  

You cannot go wrong with Betsy, and her sister as caretakers of your home and critters.  We would have them again, instantly, and this time, as friends!
