Hello – I would like to introduce ourselves – Jim and Leslie. We have been married for 35 years, are both professionals, our 2 children have graduated and started their careers and families so now we are ready for our next adventure - exploring different parts of the world and making new friends. I am a nurse who teaches online and Jim was formally with the Justice Department and is now retired. We are in our mid 50’s. Central to our core values are respect, friendliness and being genuine. We are both physically active and enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming and cycling. We are non-smoking. We have dedicated most of our lives to volunteering and giving back to our community over the last 3 decades.
We love pets. We had an amazing dog ‘Jazz” who passed away several years ago at the age of 14 and we have not been able to replace her. She was the center of our family. Although now our daughter has a new addition “Goose” – who is a mischievous golden doodle but lots of fun. Jim grew up loving his cats. If you have pets you can be assured they will receive a ton of love and care from both of us. We have taken care of some older animals and given regular medication to the pets. We love to spoil your pet and take for regular excercise.
We will take care of your home like it was our own. You will return home to a sparkling clean and tidy haven. We have completed several House Sits over the years now since we joined and the home owners have contacted us to come back.
Our one requirement is reliable internet/wifi. – preferably in your home or that we can access nearby.
We are open to a variety of stay durations. During the winter months home can be quite cold for us here in Canada so we would like to mix it up a bit – a little heat and some snow. Right now with all the new travels restrictions we prefer to stay in Canada though. If you require additional information do not hesitate to contact us.
