We are a married couple recently retired from teaching and have lived in several countries over the past 15 years. Up until 16 years ago we always had pets in our lives and are missing the companionship.
We have been homeowners for 27 years, and have been landlords as well as tenants since we've been overseas. We have been responsible for routine home care and maintenance, swimming pools, and gardens in the past.
Anne is from Pennsylvania, and Spencer is from California. We have lived in Japan, Costa Rica, Peru, China, India, and Germany. English is our native language, but we have capability in Japanese, German, and a wee bit of Spanish and French. We're open to travel both near and far.
We're friendly with people, pets, kids, and neighbors. We're non-smokers, and we have really enjoyed the pet-sitting and house-sitting we've done in the past. We've cared for plants, cats, dogs, and fish, and have had our own pets in all three categories over the years. We keep homes clean and cared for, and we pamper pets in our care as if they're our own.
