We are Barbara and Scott Lyford. We are both retired and enjoy traveling. We have done much of the work to remodel the three houses we've lived in over the years, including the one where we have lived in San Antonio since 2001, and thus are very aware of the need for preventative maintenance and quick repair of any problems that develop. We have two inside cats, and enjoy our neighbor's dogs as well.

Since retiring in 2015 we have traveled quite a bit, mostly in our small RV in the western United States. We grew up in Grapevine, Texas, which at the time was a small town surrounded by farms and ranches. I owned a horse as a child and worked on dairies and farms in the area. We are interested in house-sitting as a way to meet new people and find out what other cities and neighborhoods are like to live in.
