We're an adventurous couple in our sixties looking to see more of the world on a budget. We've been doing house trades for years as well as house sitting and pet sitting (references available). We love to explore new areas of the country, as well as abroad. We're especially looking for opportunities anywhere near a National Park, but we have an extensive list of places we'd love to visit and are open to new ideas as well.
We've had several great housesits through housecarers since 2017. We are reliable, responsible, competent sitters. We can offer you peace of mind that we'll take excellent care of your home. We are homeowners and nonsmokers and very tidy. We'll leave your home clean!
Darrell is retired from the federal government and an avid photographer. I still occasionally work as a freelance editor but can bring my work with me. We'd like to stay in one place long enough to explore and get a real feel for the community/landscape, so we generally won't want to sign up for less than a week (unless we happen to be on the road near you and the dates work out). Otherwise, our availability is very flexible.
