Originally from the US, I've lived in Iceland (3 years), then slow-nomad petsit/travelled before spending the past ~3 years working in San Francisco. Returning to long-term travel again, though now based in Portugal (as of mid-2021)! Enjoying splitting time between visiting friends, having adventures on my own, and petsitting where/when I can. :)
The best part about travelling for me is settling into a new place for a bit, really getting to know the neighbourhood and people as a "local", so I'm looking for both short and long-term house/pet sits in Portugal and other parts of Europe. I absolutely love making new furry (and non-furry) friends along the way!
Though I haven't owned my own home, I've always been a responsible and resourceful renter, keeping things tidy and in good working order.
I grew up with pets of all sorts, had 2 cats of my own for 14 years, and absolutely understand how important it is to have someone reliable and trustworthy to look after and care for them.
On the home front:
A quiet, tidy non-smoker who loves to cook and clean up along the way, my friends would say I'm a great houseguest; utmost respect and care for your home (and furry loved ones) is my top priority.
On the furry front:
I love animals, particularly cats, and in addition to providing the best possible care and many snuggles to your furry family members, I'm happy to send updates and photos, as sometimes you just need to see that fuzzy face!
