Hi there
We are a Kiwi (New Zealand) couple in our early sixties who would love to care for your babies and your home while you have a break.
We provide heaps of cuddles, belly rubs and attention for your animals, walks for those that need exercise, and keep in touch sending you updates and photos of your pets and home - everything you need to be able to relax on your holiday knowing all is well and your pets are happy.
We keep a very clean and tidy house and are respectful of other peoples homes.
We have had the privilege of housesitting in NZ, Australia, UK, Germany, Switzerland and France.
We are currently available mid July to end of September 2025 in Europe (especially Italy, Greece or Spain), but open to South America, Carribbean, Botswana, Tanzania , Kenya, Morocco, Egypt and other opportunities for sits 3 weeks.

We have a wealth of experience in caring for animals between us. Jen ran a deer farm for ten years (one of those years by herself while also working in town full time). Between the two of us we have had the privilege of caring for deer (170 of them), cattle - Jen named all of them (making for tears when it came time to sell them), dogs, cats, fish, chickens, sheep, even bees and a couple of very naughty goats :-)
We are from New Zealand and love to travel each year from mid July to end September or October and would love to experience a little of the beauty of your part of the world.
About us:
Peter played double bass in one of NZ’s top jazz bands for 30 years playing all over the world. He is now also a freelance web developer so can work from anywhere with a good wifi connection. Jen is an aspiring writer.
We love walking and Yin yoga (Jen), and running and Crossfit (Peter), photography and music and although we like to explore the area, during house sits we stay reasonably close to 'home' as Peter sometimes works during our trips, meaning your pets have company for most of the day and your home is secure.
We prefer being in one place for a while and love meeting new people and pets. We do not currently have any of our own so get our fix by becoming surrogate pet parents.
We are experienced in driving in different countries and have international driving permits as well as our NZ driving licences. We have references from house sits in NZ, Australia, Germany, Switzerland and France, and police checks for your peace of mind. We would really love to hear from you. Happy to / video call so you can 'meet' us.
