Barry & I are a youthful and healthy Canadian couple who love to travel and explore the world. We are passionate about animals and would truly enjoy taking care of your pets and your home.
Why Do We Want To Pet/Housesit?
Because we are avid travelers, we cannot have pets of our own, as we have had in the past. House sitting will provide us the opportunity to love your pets and take loving care of them as if they were our own. Our pets were always "one of the family" and were treated as cherished members- all the while being spoiled with our care and love. All of our pets as well as the ones that we have cared for, adored us! Why? Because we adored them! We loved caring for them... we loved cuddling and playing with them and we loved the exercise and fun with them! Taking care of your home and pets, will also allow us to live like "locals", while enjoying different parts of the world.

What We Bring to the Assignment/Relevent Experience:
We are a professional couple- I have recently retired as a Corporate Finance Director and Barry is still employed, running his own Software development company. However, as long as he has internet access, he can work from anywhere in the world.
We have been active as volunteers; I work with the United Way in a school program and Barry has directed children and adult community choirs, on a volunteer basis and was also a church choir director/organist for over 20 years. Barry received the prestigious Herbert Kent Award from the B.C. Choral society in The web site where you can view the details is: bcchoralfed. In order to participate in these works, we have both had police background checks completed and passed with "flying colours".
We are non-smokers, take great pride in treating your home as we would ours- we are proud home owners- decorating and styling our home is one of our favourite hobbies.
We understand how concerning it can be to have someone you do not know taking care of your pets and your home. You may be assured peace of mind while you travel, with Barry & myself taking care of your precious pets and belongings. You will be able to travel, knowing that they are safe, secure and having fun with us as their caretakers.

We both have a true compassion for animals and in the past, they have been some of the most helpful beings in our lives. We both love working with animals because it's like you are surrounded by a bevy of best friends.
Our pets have included both cats and dogs, so we are experienced in caring for animals.
We are handy- I am an avid gardener and Barry is very capable of doing household maintenance. In your absence, you would not have to worry, as we can take care of any issues that may arise. We will keep your home clean and neat and your pets happy and loved.
Taking care of your pets and your home while you travel, provides us with a wonderful opportunity to assist you, as well as offer us the benefit of seeing other parts of the world.
