I am a semi-retired professional. When I work, I accept contracts throughout the world developing curriculum and training employees when new computer systems are installed. I own a high-rise condo where I live and a duplex that I rent for income. I have owned several properties in my life including a year old house and a sq ft suburban property. I am looking for new experiences in any new setting. I am looking for the joy of pets without accepting the responsibility for life. I will provide you stress-free time away from your home and pets. I will take care of everything as if it were my own. I will follow all your rules. I have held house and pet sitting assignments. I am trustworthy, bondable, As a property owner, I am able to handle most household minor problems. If I cannot handle it myself, I can competently contact and oversee the proper professional. I am experienced with cats, dogs, aquarium and pond fish, rodent-type caged pets (gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, etc), and turtles. In the past, I have had feeding and some tending experience for farm animals. With some instruction or periodic oversight, I could probably handle moderate tending again. I am not a friend of reptiles. I become rather bored and antsy hanging around the same old place. I find I am most happy when I experience new surroundings. This is why house/pet sitting is the perfect opportunity for me. I might get tired of cleaning my own house, but I take pride in making someone else's home a delight to return to. I enjoy LIVING in different places; don't want to be a tourist.
