We can care for your home, pets and garden while you are gone. We are used to caring for our two homes in Oregon and Arizona and managing our rentals. You can enjoy your trip knowing that we are skilled in handling varied problems and should the need arise can do some minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting and wood working or coordinate construction should an emergency occur. We are a retired professional couple (Dentist and wife is a former teacher and Registered Nurse). Our interests include woodworking (building furniture and remodeling), Pets, gardening fruits, and vegetable and flowers, Rotary, photography, fly fishing, rafting, bicycling, reading and travel. We had several breeds of dogs both large and small including beagle, basset hounds, golden retrievers, German Shorthaired pointer , Yorkshire terrier, silky terrier, miniature poodle and Welch corgi and have cared for my wife's sisters's three dogs when she became ill. We also had several cats, guinea pigs, gerbils, birds, fish plus chickens and ducks. While working at the Duke primate Research Center my wife cared for various species of lemurs and old world monkeys. We are adaptable people who have had varied experiences ,who like travel, have lived in over thirty five residences, eleven states and visited eleven countries. We are both non smokers and my wife Nancy is a meticulous keeper. We would like the opportunity to care for your home and pets while living in a new environment plus meeting interesting people.
