I'm a multi-skilled professional photographer/tour leader who has been working the last 12 northern summer seasons in remote Alaska as a grizzly bear photography guide and, when the bears hibernate, as a photo tour leader in Africa during the northern winters. Previously, I spent a year as a B&B manager in Taos, New Mexico, and am familair with all facets of the hospitality and building industries, having worked in both for over 40 years. Prior to housecarers , I house-sat in numerous places worldwide - including the US, France, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. I'm currently looking for a house-sit for a few weeks to a few months where I can work on my photos (and take a few more:).
I'm a skilled carpenter/builder if there's work to be done, but that would have to be a separate agreement.
I love all animals - particularly dogs and cats - but have taken care of everything from goldfish to elephants (having worked on farms and for the Moscow Circus as the Animal Rights Liaison to ensure the care and safety of the animals).
I'm 100% responsible and reliable and can supply references if desired. I'm fluent in German and speak some French and Spanish. Available from November 1, 2021. Quiet non-smoker. Fully COVID vaccinated.
