I am an independent and responsible woman and love to travel and experience different environments. I have several years experience as a housesitter, and I am also a host on so I know what it is like to entrust your home to another person. I am retired, and I am a non-smoker.
My housesits have ranged from one week to six months. I am an animal lover and have sat for dogs, cats and fish ponds. I have administered medication to pets, and all animals under my care have thrived.
For me housesitting is interesting and fun. I enjoy the variety provided by housesitting and am glad to be useful to people who want their pets responsibly cared for.
I am very tidy and I like to leave a clean house for the person who let me use their space. I am a homeowner so I have a working knowledge of fuses and fuse boxes, how to turn off water lines, how to prepare for weather, etc. I housesit for no charge, just rent-free accommodations and I cover my own travel expenses.
