We are an active, non-smoking, semi-retired couple living in Sunset Beach, NC, USA. Jack was a university professor and a corporate exec in charge of global web design for a major computer company. Patti enjoyed a fulfilling career as a special eduction teacher. We have been homeowners and pet owners for many years, so know how to care for your home and your pets. We love to housesit to experience life from the local residents' perspective, rather than staying a hotels or B&Bs. We highly recommend Patti and Jack!  They were a lovely couple who did an excellent job caring for our house and 10 month old puppy.  This was their 14th gig.  The are getting older and said they plan to slow down, so you'll be lucky if you can get them.

For a reason known only to the canine gods, my Bernese Mountain Dog decided to go on walking strike!  However, knowing that exercise was to be on her agenda, Patti and Jack were persisitent in their efforts to overcome the stubborn streak.  They kept me regularly informed of the progress and the elation over success.  I returned after 2 weeks to a happy dog and a very clean house.  I recommend this very experienced couple.
