We are originally from Australia, and international House Sitting was our full-time lifestyle from early 2013.
We now have a home base in Mexico, and like to call ourselves the 'Help-out House Sitters'... but of course, house-sitting is in our blood, so we can never resist the allure of some furbaby love!
We are semi-retired, working online as we need to, so we're happy to travel anywhere to take care of your home & beloved pets in your absence.
Aged in our early 50's, Natalie enjoyed a 13-year career in the Australian Federal Police, and Jodie has over 20 years of experience in hotel & resort management, tourism & hospitality throughout Australia. We bring this knowledge, care & responsibility to your home.
To say we love house sitting is an understatement. Not only is it our lifestyle, but it is part of our business. Our time is spent each day helping members of our online course, 'The House Sitting Academy' which we founded in 2014, while developing other house sitting & Roaming Income products for fellow digital nomads.
This work also means we do require reliable internet access for any house sit we take on.
Since the majority of our time is spent working from our laptops, we would spend most of our time at home with your pet/s.

OUR BACKGROUNDS -
We are a vibrant & active couple who love animals & nature, connection & learning about new cultures and people. We bring our vitality to your pets & property, spending quality time with your pet/s each day, giving them the same love & care you do.
We have both grown up with many pets in our lives since very young (including many varieties of dogs, birds, diamond pythons, and tropical & freshwater fish) so having pets & looking after them is second nature to us.
Natalie enjoyed a 13-year career in the Australian Federal Police, spending 7 years of that in VIP Protection looking after Heads of State, diplomats, and politicians, and 6 months in East Timor with the United Nations.
Jodie has 20 years of tourism & hospitality experience, managing & maintaining various-sized properties & resorts all over Australia.
We bring this experience, trust & competency to you.
OUR PREVIOUS HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE -
We have done well over 100 house sits since 2013 throughout various countries.
Along our journey, we have had to deal with extremes of climates & environments, from humid rainy season jungles, hurricane season in the Caribbean, sub-zero snow conditions in Canadian winters, to living at altitude (3000 meters), and are equally comfortable in all.
We have also been involved in the professional training of several dogs we have minded.
Due to Jodie's background, some of our assignments have included the management of in-house staff, B&B's & holiday Gites (self-contained) for which we have been paid. Outside of such assignments, however, we DO NOT charge for our house sitting, instead being massive advocates of the fair exchange aspect of house sitting & the ‘Sharing Economy'.

Over the years we have both owned our own homes as well as multiple investment properties between us. As such we are well used to:

With our Federal Police & Resort Management backgrounds, security & privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we fully appreciate it is for you as a homeowner, providing your home & possessions for house sitting. You can be completely assured your home & assets will be completely secure & maintained with us. Natalie maintained a ‘Highly Classified’ security clearance for her Federal Police VIP Protection work.

Also, we thrive on ever-changing environments and routines, and we have been fortunate that our internet-based business has enabled us to break free of any fixed location for work and allowed us to live from wherever we please.
97% of our travels have been through house sitting since 2013 & we have absolutely loved it. To us, having experienced back-to-back house sits with absolute ease and flow since we started, really shows us we living our heartfelt purpose... and it certainly feels that way.
