We are a non smoking, dedicated professional House Sitting couple. 65,71 with 12 yrs full time sitting behind us.

I have retired now but most of my working life was in the security field. Worked for the Metropolitan Police and as a store detective/security officer. My partner retired after 40 yrs working at the same place, Norwich Uni.
My partner has has extensive experience with animals including running a cattery, livery yard, kept chickens,duck,pigeons,several dogs. He is very handy in the garden and with DIY.
We have sat in Australia many times, mainly Cairns and Newcastle, NSW, where we have now made many wonderful friends.
PS We pay all our own expenses in travelling etc, but we ask for loan of a vehicle please.
We have no motoring convictions, points and do not drink and drive.
We have sat in Australia, New Zealand,Spain,Azores,Malaysia,to nsme some locations.
As I join Laurie in becoming fully retired, we are deciding where to retire. Therefore we appreciate the opportunity to sit and research areas to do so.

SIT DATE: May weeks Anita and Laurie were wonderful house sitters and delightful and completely trustworthy couple. We returned from our vacation to find our cat well pampered and the house was immaculate with fresh sheets on the beds and fresh flowers. The garden was regularly watered and Laurie mowed our lawns too and attended to some well overdue garden cleanup in our absence. Anita and Laurie also left food in the fridge such as an evening meal, bread and milk on our return which was so thoughtful. Anita kept us updated throughout our vacation with photos of our cat and a report on the house- Great communication. Highly recommend this couple who clearly love animals and take pride in looking after other peoples houses. Would definitely invite them back. Thanks Anita and Laurie

Anita and Laurie Recently house that for me at Kewarra Beach Far North Queensland. Their main task was to look after Honey, my beautiful big American Staffy. Made friends with honey immediately, and being a kind gentle people there they are, she was In very good hands. They took her down to the beach every day. AND Send me photos daily! Anita and Laurie kept the house and Garden spick and span.

Anita sat for us previously in our last flat, so when she applied for this sit, we accepted instantly!! Our dog, Charlie, was so excited to see her and we knew that he was in good hands. Anita and Laurie took good care of my fur baby including lots of walks and swims. The house and garden were immaculate when I returned. The best reference is that Arvi didn't want them to leave. I have no hesitation in recommending Anita and Laurie. I only hope they don't get too busy and are available again next year.

Laurie and Anita could not have been better house sittersing home to an immaculate house was wonderful and my dog was so happy and healthy. She and Laurie seemed to have bonded so well.
I made a mistake with the date I would be returning and Anita and Laurie worked it so they could split their next assignment to help me out. Thank goodness for them.
They are both very caring people.

Anita and Laurie were fantastic home and pet minders. They obviously have a love of animals, and my pets felt comfortable with them right away. Even my newly acquired (previously stray) cat was happy and content. They had also to contend with feeding my multiple wild birds, and Laurie didn't mind at all the cockatoos jumping on his shoulder!
We had the house sitters Anita & Laurie house sit our house for 27 days. This couple were great. We were very nervous as this was our first time using house sitters but after meeting them we felt a lot better. They offered to look after our cat Mischka but we had already booked her into the cattery & as I said we were quite nervous about having people in our home. Laurie picked us up from the airport yesterday & we dropped him off at their new house sitting address then continued home. The house is clean, the gardens, lawns & pool have been looked after & even my car has been washed. They left us a bottle of wine & a cheese & meat platter as a thank you for letting them stay in our house. We highly recommend this couple for any house sitting jobs. We will hopefully be using them again in the near future & this time we would feel happy leaving our cat with them. Thank you
