It would be an honor for Gunnar & I to care for your home & pets while you are away. As a retired couple, we have the freedom & flexibility to accept any house/pet sit that fits.
We have been house/pet sitting for several years & have established the trust & confidence of numerous homeowners. This has enabled us to do a lot of repeat sits to several locations we enjoy.
We have had 4 great beach house/dog sits in the Baja on the Sea of Cortez. We had four fun dogs to take on 3 mile beach walks every day, birds to feed, snorkeling & had fun swims with the dogs. They were 6 to 9 month house sits.
We have been to Solvang, California 5 times including two 6 month sits while they were off in their RV. They had two 17 year old cats that required special care & meds. We also had several bird feeders to fill. We loved it there & made many wonderful friends & did volunteer work for a senior citizen organization. Sad to say Max and Kona passed on.
We have been to Vancouver, B.C. twice caring for 2 adorable aged Shih Tzu. They both required several meds throughout the day. I loved these two little guys & sorry to say they both passed away this year. I loved their “Happy Dance.” Joanne would leave them with no one but me.
We also spent a winter in Kelowna taking care of 3 dogs & a cat. Gertie, a Shar Pei, thought she was Gunnar’s lap dog. We had great hikes in the hills & down at the lake. Lots of ski resorts for Gunnar.
We spent two great winters in the resort town of Sun Valley in a stunning home with 2 great dogs. We hiked the hills, kept them away from the elk herds & played a lot of catch. Gunnar skied there and in Salk Lake City, where we dog/cat(s)/house sat for 3 winters and return again this winter.
We’ve 3 dogs/2cats/condo sat 3 times in San Francisco. Great location & a fun place to walk the dogs several times a day. They moved to Washington State where we have house/pet sat for two other families.
In Tucson we took early dog walks watching out for javalina & rattlers. We been to Santa Fe, Nevada, shoveled snow in Alaska & played at Grand Beach with 4 dogs in Vieques. In Florida, Toni (pit-bull) became my lap dog. (Sweet Girl)
We have had several repeat sitsin Cape Coral, Florida and Foley, Alabama and recently in Seabrook Island in South Carolina. Life is Good
We have loved every minute of it. We made so many new friends and explored so many wonderful places. I feel blessed & full of joy from the experiences.

GUNNAR: Norwegian born, Canadian raised, and now proud U.S citizen. He is Ex USA Navy and a Retired CPA. Gunnar owns property in San Francisco. Gunnar has decided to retire from the business world and to travel around with me, and see where this thing called “life” takes us.

EXPERIENCE: As you see, we have house sat a variety of homes & looked after numerous pets in Canada, across the USA, Mexico & the Caribbean. These home owners have become our friends. "Seems they all like us back for another sit"
FLEXIBILITY: We will house sit anywhere that we’re attracted to.
LOVE OF ANIMALS: Seems as parents you care for the children and all their pets too. We adore animals because they love you “unconditionally.” Your pets are ALWAYS there for you. We TOTALLY UNDERSTAND that leaving your home & beloved pets with total strangers IS A BIG DEAL. But we are sure that we would honor your trust in us.
CONCLUSION: We believe that we are good, honest, normal, decent people. We know we are more than capable of taking care of your home & pets while you’re away.
