About her: I am a positive, responsible, and independent. I grew up in Indiana, USA, and started living internationally in 2004, first for school, then for work. and now for house sitting! I'm open to (almost) all locations. I'm self-employed, doing freelance work online.

I'm looking for opportunities to see more of the world through house-sitting. Just about any location is welcome!
Why I want to house sit:
I planned for several years to be able to change direction in life and start down a new path. In doing so, I changed my lifestyle such that I am now a full-time house and pet sitter and online freelancer.
I've got investment income, and freelance work that allow me to live without a full time job, as long as I keep expenses low, which is why house-sitting is so perfect. Since I pursue several online sources of income, any location with internet access works for me!
I also love to travel and learn about new places house sitting is a perfect way to do that.
My boyfriend also joins me whenever possible on house sitting assignments. (That's why you see the two of us in the photos!) When I apply for a house sit, I discuss with the home owner whether it will be just me or both of us, depending on his availability.
Why I'm a great house sitter:
- I've been a house and pet sitter since June 2010.
- I love pets and miss having my own! Growing up in Indiana, I helped take care of my family's dogs, cats, and a bird. I'll give your pets all the love and attention they need!
- I've leased *many* apartments, and while I recognize leasing is not the same as house- sitting, it does require you to take care of someone else's property while you're there. I also own several apartments, so I understand how crucial it is for a tenant (or house-sitter!) to care for the property.
- I'm a quick learner and eager to learn new things -- anything you need me to take care of that I don't already have experience in, I'll find a way to learn how to do it!
- I'm a non-smoker.
