We are again looking for someone to come and live in our house while we are away for five weeks from 21st January to 27th February We have two cats, both of whom spend a lot of time out of doors in the daytime but prefer to come in during the evening and they have their beds in the kitchen at night. They need feeding morning and evening, and sometimes like a bit extra during the day! We live in a modern 3 bedroom detached house in a village near Southwold, an Edwardian seaside town on the east coast of Suffolk, UK: it's a nice village with friendly people - a good pub - a post office - a shop - a village hall that shows films: our house looks towards the church across the field and we have a range of well kept footpaths for exercise!
There are lots of lovely walks around here and the river Blyth flows through the valley nearby. Plenty of shops etc in Southwold (which also has a pier) and Halesworth, our two nearest towns: each of these towns is about 4 miles away with an hourly bus service connecting both via our village and the railway station for hourly trains to London and Cambridge (2+ hours) and hourly buses to Norwich (90 minutes).
