We have twelve years of professional house and pet sitting in the UK, France and Belgium plus California, Arizona and western Canada with all kinds of creatures except reptiles. We both come from farming backgrounds and Barrie had managed an equestrian center in Canada. We have always been self employed (Barrie a Marine engineer and Carole a music teacher and yacht interior/design professional) and before we retired we were in Mexico for ten years operating our marine service business so we are comfortable interacting with clients and dealing with the public.
We previously sailed in the Pacific and have lived on boats since We have done many yacht deliveries in the Pacific, Barrie was Captain on private yachts with Carole the navigator, crewed on a professional charter barge in France, and are outgoing, confident, creative, fast learners and eager for new experiences. We are calm, reliable, neat, orderly, non smokers, no drugs, just the odd bottle of wine types. We have lots of energy and love working with people. We like getting out of the Canadian cold and into some winter sun then we return to our ancient 110 year old Tjalk in Belgium in early spring.
