I have just recently retired from working full time as an adult literacy instructor with Vancouver Community College. I have several years experience house and pet sitting. I am mature, responsible, trustworthy and dependable and love pets. I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule, and am very interested in spending time in other areas of Vancouver, Vancouver Island and other countries for a month or more. I lived in Vancouver for 20 years, recently moved to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, and I've also lived in Toronto, China, on Baffin Island and in rural and urban Manitoba. I've house and pet sat on a farm in Victoria, Australia for two months,and in Mullingar,Ireland for two months in 2010, 2011 and 2012, in Seattle, WA and Phoenix, AZ. I am happy to do short or long term house sitting in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland. I am a non-smoker, very active, love to walk, bike and swim. I will take excellent care of your home and pets, and will leave your home in excellent condition. I love cats and dogs, and love to explore new places. Your home and pets will be well cared for and loved. I have excellent references on this , and several more I can as requested.
