We are a retired couple who for the time being are avid international travellers. We would like to find a house sitter, preferably a mature couple (retired) who would maintain and enjoy the tranquility of our home and gardens, and keep our Ginger (Moggy) Company for eight to ten weeks from August 20, this year.
We have a large beautiful home, on just over an acre of land, overlooking the sweeping Manukau Harbour, Auckland City and beyond. It is in a quiet and peaceful, semi-rural location, up a shared private driveway, with marvellous neighbours. It is a 10 minute drive to Manukau City, and about 30 to the CBD. The Auckland Botanical gardens are close by, as is Totara Park with marvellous native bush walking trails.
The sitters for us should be very houseproud, as we are, like to potter in the garden, take care of maintaining our pool and feeding Ginger. Nothing arduous. We have a lawn mowing contractor.
