Hello prospective house sitters. My partner & I are having a much needed holiday soon & we need your help to look after our fur babies. We have two small happy dogs and a sleepy cat.
One of the dogs, Daisy, was bought from the pound and we think she may have had a troubled youth and as a result generally doesn't get along well with males. She would never bite but does tend to bark at them when they enter the room.
We also have a 15 yo daughter who will not be staying at the house but I mention it in case she needs to pop over to grab something occasionally.
Our house is a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place walking distance to parks, bus stop & shopping centre, and is very low maintenance.
We have an outdoor spa which has very little maintenance requirements but we can empty if you'd prefer not to be bothered by it.
We also have basic gardens which would require occasional watering (garden beds have a sprinkler system installed).
If required you can borrow my car. There are only two stipulations though 1. If you have an accident which requires insurance, you pay for the excess and 2. That the driver is over 21yo.
Cairns is a BEAUTIFUL place and although it is hot in summer time all bedrooms and the TV room are airconditioned. There is plenty to do and it really is a tropical paradise.
