I have two medium sized dogs (Jess is 16 years old and Winstan is 6 years old) and I need someone to look after them and live in my house from Saturday 2nd September to Tuesday 19th September 2017.
My house is a small 3 bedroom villa (although only 1 room is setup as a bedroom, I do have a fold-out couch in the spare room), with a courtyard in Bayswater WA.
I have a spa in the courtyard, which is lovely to use in the evenings, with a glass of wine. I also have a hammock hanging in the courtyard (and have a spare I can hang if you would like two hammocks).
My house is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the Bayswater train station, and a 10 minute drive to the Morley Galleria Shopping Mall. It is only 10 minutes away from the Perth city centre by train.
I'm looking for someone who is comfortable managing two medium-sized dogs, they are both very friendly and gentle but can be naughty if not kept in line. They are both rescue dogs and I have trained them using the Dog Whisperer method of exercise, discipline, affection. They are very good when managed in this way, but they will try to take over if you're a softie. :-)
The dogs are allowed on the lounge furniture but not on the bed, if you prefer them not to be on the furniture with you, that is fine. They need to be walked every day for at least fifteen minutes. There is a fabulous off the leash dog park 5 minutes drive from my house which is very safe and the dogs know well. It even has a little beach where the dogs can swim in the river and a coffee van where you can buy coffee and snacks. You will have access to my ute if you'd like to use it to drive the dogs there (Jess can't walk that far).
The garden is minimal and requires little care, however if you can water my indoor plants once or twice a week, that would be great!
I have unlimited data and you will have access to my wifi, however I do not have a land-line, so you will need your own mobile.
