We would like to find a house/pet sitter who is familiar with the needs of indoor cats - we have three British Shorthairs - although two do go outside on leashes and join our Hungarian Vizsla dog on the lawn. We have a large house so plenty of room for everyone.
Our home is on five acres situated within a few minutes' drive of the lovely village of Alstonville and 20 minutes from the beaches of Ballina in northern NSW.
Ideally, we would love to have someone who lives locally and would like a change of house occasionally. We are planning to be away for two months this winter. We would also like to be able to go away for the odd weekend or up to a week at other times during the year. We are happy to have someone do short sits and perhaps another person to do the long ones if that is more feasible.
Our dog would need a walk at least once a day. We would like the house kept tidy and well maintained and the mail collected. Nothing much would need doing in the garden - just a few pot plants on the verandah to be watered and a few in the house.
