I am looking for a cat sitter from August t4, 2017 through September 19.
My house is located in the picturesque village of Ajijic, Mexico. Ajijic is a very colorful little town with cobble stone streets and a lovely townsquare, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. People are very friendly, and many of them are Americans and Canadians.
My house is located five to ten minutes from the square, and only one block from Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico. You can't swim in the lake, but it is lovely to walk on the malecon (walkway) along the water. My house has a beautiful roof terrace with direct views of the lake and the mountains. I spend a lot of time there. The house is a two story, two bedroom, typical Mexican house. A gardener comes twice a week, and a cleaning lady once per week.
As for Mariah, the cat, she loves people and is very affectionate, although she does not sit on your lap. She responds to the name Kittie, as well as Mari. She is almost two years old. I would like you to scoop the litterbox twice a day and feed her three times a day, although times are somewhat flexible. It is imperative that you play with her, as she is basically an indoor cat. She does have access to the mirador. Mari loves interactive play which includes sitting on the floor and rolling her ball to her so she can roll it back to you.
As for transportation, you don't need a car, and you may use my golf cart, if you like. There is a good local bus system to get you around, and taxis are inexpensive.
I am looking for a reliable cat sitter with references.
