Looking for a house sitter initially for a week or two so I can visit my husband who is working in Canberra and who currently commutes back for a couple of days each week, would be looking for further portential casual sits too so I can keep doing this.
We live 1km from Australia Zoo in Beerwah on 3/4 acre backing onto a bushland reserve. It is a 5 bedroom home we built 13 years ago with plenty of space. Would like someone who will care for our home as if it is their own.
We are looking for someone who can look after our beautiful 6 year old male Kelpie cross Rocky, he is a very loving, obedient, quiet dog who demands very little. We walk him twice a day around the area and he does love a visit to the beach but he is also happy if he does not manage to get his walks, he also loves his ball. He can be left alone but is not used to being left regularly for long periods so ideally would like someone who is home a fair bit.
We also have an 11 year old budgie Billy who lives outside and requires feeding every two to three days.
We have a pool whch requires little maintenance and gardens that require little care, if away we can organise a contract mower to come in.
